Well it did not last long and spent more tax money than was original set aside for it but we all hope that it did do some good. The fall out is coming just as in all to big to be all good that we throw at problems now days. But hey always the optimist (lol) we will always have the knowledge that we gained from the experience.
We learned that most people still prefer foreign made products over one made here in the good old USA. (Oh don't give me that crap that "Toyota's are made here now!" The money still goes back home to Japan.) So when you lose that great job of yours next month because all those little manufacturing firms that use to use your services are out of business and your company did not need that many tech heads anymore, don't cry to anyone that has a brain.
Like I said "I hope we are learning".

Waste of American manufacturing.
Seems like such a waste of American manufacturing. All the good parts sold for scrap. Maybe we should have said foreign brands only.
What will they do with all the repo's stacking up all over the country?

Well must be good for some.
Ford post sales increase over last year. They give credit to Cash for Clunkers.
